Brattleboro PD received a report of vandalism at the BUHS soccer field located next to the VT Argricultural Center on Old Guilford Road. A vehicle was used to damage the field and the garden. This event occurred in the early morning hours of 09/25/04.

The suspect is described as a black male, bald, appears to have a mustache and goatee, approx. 40 years old, height approx. 6'0" - 6'2", weight approx. 220-240lbs, and is wearing a dark colored T - shirt and jeans. The suspect was caught on store security video taking 4 bottles of champagne calued at approx. $180.00.

A robbery was conducted at Kentucky Fried Chicken on Putney Road. The manager reported that he went out the door to start his car when a man cmae up behind him. This man pointed a small handgun at him and demanded the money bag. The manager stated that he did not have a money bag, so the robber settled on taking his peronal money, $18.00.

Subject entered Motel six, held a gun to an employees head and demanded money. Suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5'8", skinny, hazel eyes, with a deep voice. Suspect was wearing a wind breaker (that had a wide white horizontal stripe with a skinny dark blue horizontal stripe on the back), dark blue hood with a dark blue ski mask, dark blue paints, and a star like tattoo on the upper part of his left hand. The bike was stolen from Elliot Street and is described as a metallic green "next voltage" stunt bike with a jell cushion seat. The bike has dual hand breaks and a bike plate underneath the seat with the name "Danielle".

A burglary occurred at 40 Fuller Drive. It was discovered that the burglar exited through the front door of the house. The description given was a white male, approximately 5'9", wearing a red sweatshirt, a black ski mask, and dark color baggy jeans. The burglar gained entry into the residence through a first floor bedroom window. Taken from the residence was an undetermined amount of money in quarters. The same type of burglary was also discovered at 91 Fuller Drive. The items taken there were $4.00 in gold coins.

A van at Adelphia Cable was broken into as well. Stolen from this van was a signal meter, valued at approximately $1500.00.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area in an older (1980's) blue two-door vehicle with a white female, described as being in her late 20's with light brown hair wearing a dress.

In the afternoon a male subject went to a residence on Oak Grove Ave and introduced himself as a Brattleboro Water Department worker. Subject advisedthat the water bill sent to that residence was in error. The bill sent out was $50.00 too much. Subject told the residence that if they give him $50.00 he would give them a $100.00 bill. The exchange was completed and when someone else came back to the residence the male gave the resident back his money, took the $100.00 bill back, and left. None of the Brattleboro Water employees refund money or take money from customers.

At approximately 14:17 hours officer of Brattleboro PD investigated a report of shots fired. An 18 year old male had been physically assaulted by two black males and robbed of cash. The males reportedly had hadguns and repeatedly struck the victim with the guns. During the assault, one of the handguns was fired. One of the two subjects, Omari Gray 19, who committed this act was arrested a few days later. The other subject, Ziggy Brock (23) is still at large.

At approximately 01:07 am officers responded to the Radio Shack on Putney Road for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers found the door window had been broken allowing access into the building. Person/s entered the business and removed numerous electronic items, including digital cameras.
Commercial Burglary on 09/17/01
Burglary at the Brattleboro Development Corporation located on Cotton Mill Hill. The burglary is believed to have occured sometime after 3:00 pm. Some type of pry bar is believed to have been used to gain access to the office. However, access to the office area corridor, was gained through the Mill Hill Campus.

At approximately 03:20 on 08/30/01 Officers responded to Texaco Station on Putney Road for a Burglar Alarm. There was forcable entry had been made into the building. Persons who entered the store removed a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and property. The safe was approximately 3 1/2 feet tall by 18-24 inches wide. The safe had two doors, each with its own combination and a night drop seposit door.
